It can’t be denied that today English is the most popular language in the world. It has been used in all fields of the public activity. Everywhere people speak English, and many books of different subjects such as science, technology, tourism, economy, geology, politics and education have been written in English.

There is no doubt that during the last decade the movement of learning English in the whole country has become so popular that many people can not find themselves out-standers. Regardless of time and money, all classes rush to different English language centers to learn it with the hope of being capable of using it for such different goals as widening their knowledge, getting jobs in foreign companies, going abroad, studying scientific materials or accessing the Internet. It is so important and popular that it becomes a compulsory subject for students at schools and universities in our country.

In other words, a lot of good opportunities are available for learners once they have acquired fairly good English. Therefore, the number of English learners is on the increase. Yes. It may be a good sign and deserved encouragement because our government’s intention is to increase international cooperation and understanding, especially when Vietnam becomes a member of WTO.
